Had an incredibly insightful two days mentoring 5 dynamic startups from the 2025 Google AI Accelerator Cohort: Magicport, Pints, Goodbards, Vouch, and Igloo! Our sessions were deeply engaging, focusing heavily on understanding their market positioning, sharpening their go-to-market (GTM) strategies, and ensuring they are set for impactful success.
Here’s a snapshot of the discussions and key takeaways:
Magicport: As an Industry Moderniser, Magicport is building an AI feature to help Small and Medium Businesses (SMBs) obtain useful maritime information through prompting. Our discussion focused on re-imagining the user journey to drive product adoption and how to clearly differentiate their solution from competitors.
Pints: This Vertical AI Startup aims to increase productivity for Tier 2 Finance/Insurance corporations by analyzing large data with a private GPT solution. We provided advice on improving their communication regarding product differentiation, use cases, and value proposition.
Goodbards: Positioned as a Workflow Enabler, Goodbards is developing a workflow to help marketing professionals build campaigns. We discussed guiding the customer journey (Wizard) to help users find the real value of the tools, which act as a "swiss army knife" for marketers. For their GTM, the conversation revolved around optimizing their pricing tiers and bringing meaningful impact.
Vouch: As a Vertical AI Startup, Vouch offers an automated check-in solution for 3-star hotels, designed to help them save on staffing costs. The core of our discussion focused on their GTM pricing models and identifying the right strategy.
Igloo: Also an Industry Moderniser, Igloo is exploring AI use cases for Rentals, Multi-Family Housing (MFH) and Single-Family Home (SFH) in the US and across Asia, particularly for customised reporting and functions. We identified that using AI to analyse, consolidate, and provide insights from operating data.
It was incredibly rewarding to engage with these innovative teams, providing guidance on how to refine their craft, enhance their customer focus, and articulate measurable advantages that will undoubtedly help them scale and achieve their goals! Looking forward to seeing their continued growth and impact!
